Take Control To Get In The Best Shape: http://go.seniorityhealth.com/testm150a
These questions come to me from my TestMax Nutrition Program clients. These men are seeing fantastic success, but like anyone out there, run into certain things and roadblocks that I help them overcome. If you want to hear more on my program, check out my other video I posted at http://go.seniorityhealth.com/testm150a.
So, let’s dive in:
0:42 – From Scott: “…I’m wondering if our body has been lacking proper ‘nutrition’ for a number of years, how long would it take to get the body actually to a ‘healthy’ state?”
My response is RIGHT NOW. The minute you start changing anything about your nutrition, your body is going to respond. Now, that applies to both good, healthy choices and poor, unhealthy choices. Your body wants to heal itself, so if you fuel your body with the right, healthy nutrients it needs to help itself, you’re enabling one of the most organic processes that can happen for you.
3:21 – From Eric: “My biggest issue is the snacking. I love the t-nut p-butter cups (mine are smaller and limit to one a night)… The baked almonds are delicious. Is there anything else along those lines of sweet and salty that you recommend?”
“Celery and peanut butter yes. But that doesn’t cut it some times. Something to replace the chips sort of thing. Thanks ”

If you’re the kind of guy who likes munching on chips on the sofa at night while you watch TV, I can’t blame you. The body craves the salt, fat, and sugar in those chips. Snack and fast food companies know this for a fact. It’s up to you to make the conscious choice to say enough is enough and choose the things that are going to help your test and get you the body you deserve.
I snack on things like edamame and sea salt – consider this a snack to replace french fries. You are satisfying that salt craving while getting a protein-rich, plant-based snack. A timeless classic I also enjoy is eating some ripe watermelon with a dash of salt – salty, sweet, and none of the guilt.
Also, try out sauteeing green beans in a bit of coconut oil with a pinch fo sea salt to season. These are ways to satisfy your cravings – not eliminate them because no matter what the cravings aren’t going to go away. It’s up to you to equip yourself with the right knowledge and make conscious efforts to fuel your body correctly.
7:29 – From Andreas: “So coach, if we can say that ‘all fruits’ are healthy what we should consider ‘bad fruit or fruits to avoid’ and what are the quantities that we are allowed in general? I also love raw veggies, is this good practice to follow?”
Not all fruits and vegetables are created equal. So, you may increase the amounts of fruits and veggies in your diet, but you may not be choosing the right ones for your health.
Don’t eat starchy vegetables like corn, peas, and potatoes in addition to rice, because that can cause the spike in your insulin and bring on unwanted weight gain.

You need to understand the glycemic index of the foods you’re eating. Simply look that information up online and take note of what you’re about to ingest.
All-in-all, I find that anything can be good in moderation – key word being MODERATION. It goes back to making the choices about what you eat and how often you should be eating it that affects how you will look and feel as a man.
