Get In Your Best Shape – At Any Age: http://go.seniorityhealth.com/senioba7e

What’s going on, guys? Clark Bartram here with my most important tips for eating while traveling and staying at a hotel.

I spend bout 30 of the 52 weeks of the year traveling and on the road, so I know what it’s like to be unsure of what you as a man over 40 should be eating. There are good options out there – you just need to know what to look out for.

Let me show you what I’m talking about:

0:30 – Average Hotel Breakfast – Protein=packed eggs + salsa with a side of sausage.

1:09 – You may not be keeping tabs on your hydration – so first things first is to drink water. Not the coffee at first – a couple glasses of water to start.

AVOID 1:50 – Waffle fixings at the do-it-yourself waffle making station that are full of sugar.
AVOID 2:24 – Generic white bread or bagels made with processed flour

2:47 – Protein-packed nutrients: Eggs

AVOID 3:33 – Biscuits & Gravy

3:38 – Controlled portion of potatoes for carbohydrates
3:57 – Sausage for protein – fist-sized portion
4:19 – Hard-boiled eggs as my best choice
4:54 – Oatmeal for carbs

AVOID 5:09 – Yogurts full of sugar
AVOID 5:34 – Mixing in sugary cereal
AVOID 5:48 – Juices are full of sugar

There you have it, fellas. This is what typically is on display for you at a hotel for breakfast when you’re on-the-go, traveling, or on vacation, so keep in mind what I said to avoid and what’s ok for you as a man over 40 when it comes to that continental breakfast in the morning.
