There are a wide range and variety of workouts and exercises for you to do to help with more than just weight loss or toning up – anything from basic bodyweight and machine training to free weight and calisthenics can be done for your abs.

Here is a variation of a core workout that incorporates your whole body while being executed from your back – The Deadbug.

Laying on back, press lower back into the floor to engage core.

Raise Hands up in the air and legs bent to 90 degrees

Slowly extend leg (and arm) fully while keeping lower back pressed into the floor

Note: Focus on keeping lower back pressed down the entire exercises to use core. If you do this exercise too fast you won’t use the right muscles so take your time!
